Time For Change

For 2009.

Better food and drink.
Coming up on a year of meatlessness in March. And hopefully the second of many years of the Great Taste of the Midwest

Less food and drink.
And continue the trend of making food at home more and more often.

More Farmer’s Market.
CSA was great and all but this year we want to try to get it all local.

More yoga.
Like more than our irregular once a week class with Julia. I’m shooting for three times a week.

More family.
We got so used to Danna working weekends that we forgot we could go and hang out with the fam. 2008 brought us ET and 2009 brings the first new female addition to the extended family.

More boards.
More skateboarding and continuing to get more involved with the community in Madison. More snowboarding.

No more client work on Fridays.
None.

More art.
I have some started and I hope I can keep it up.

More reading.
The pile of books never stops growing.

More learning.
For fun and profit. iPhone and more video are on my current list.

More dog park.
And more walks on State too.

More biking.
No excuses.

Travel
Hawaii? Denver? San Diego? San Francisco? Seattle? Portland?

Run a 5K
Screw it. Run a 10K

Take more photos.

Camp.

She Called that Bag a Sack.

I discovered tonite (via the always informative and frequently geeky SVN) that the UW-Milwaukee has an entire site devoted to differences in dialect of common phrases and labels between regions of the United States.

Very entertaining.

Goings On

Friday marked the three month countdown to the wedding. With the cake arrangements just about crossed off the list, it feels like we are making progress in the preparations, but I feel like there must be a lot of little things we are overlooking that are about to sneak up and overwhelm us.

A Side of Freedom Fries

Happy Independence Day. Can’t really complain about breaking up the work-week with a little bit of National Holiday BBQ action with friends.

Quick rundown of things that have transpired since I last spewed into the blogosphere.
