There is a short article about this in the new printed issue of Wired that piqued my interest. It’s basically the study of the idea that people are actually getting less informed and intelligent as a society because special interest groups, be they anti-Obama campaigners, creationists, or tobacco companies cloud the facts (and the googles) to confuse people. I think I’m going to pick up the book referenced in the article. -
