Friday marked the three month countdown to the wedding. With the cake arrangements just about crossed off the list, it feels like we are making progress in the preparations, but I feel like there must be a lot of little things we are overlooking that are about to sneak up and overwhelm us.

On top of wedding stuff, Jeff has been getting more involved in searching for our new home. Somehow planning a wedding only makes us more anxious to buy/build a house, despite the poor timing. Its kind of exciting, but also a little confusing for me, since what we are looking for seems to be changing more and more often as the idea gets more serious. Hopefully we won’t get too carried away.

On a brighter note, I have an interview coming up on the 18th at a new organization called Common Threads . I don’t want to get my hopes up too much, but there is a slight chance that this could be my dream job. Its mainly a preschool for children with autism, but also advertised as family resource center, offering psychotherapy services as well. Finding a way to combine autism and family therapy (i.e. doing therapy with families dealing with autism) would be pretty much ideal. Anyway, I’m not sure what kind of position might be available for me at this place since they are just starting up and I think won’t be opening until fall, but I love the concept and I’m just hoping to be involved in one way or another.
